Every home starts in Monitor only, so you can see what Orza would have done before it does anything. Once you hand over there’s nothing to remember: no timers to reset when the prices or the seasons change.

The four modes

  • Monitor onlyRead-only. Orza works out what its plan would have saved and sends nothing.
  • AssistedOrza’s plan as advice every half hour. You decide what the battery does.
  • Automatic controlOrza sends its plan to your battery through the maker’s cloud.
  • PausedOrza stops planning, and your battery follows its own settings.
Taking over

You can always take over.

Orza plans. Your battery, its own settings and its maker’s app stay exactly where they are.

  • Hand control back any timeChoose another mode from the top of the app. Pause Orza and your battery goes straight back to its own settings.
  • If Orza or a cloud can’t be reachedYour battery carries on under its own settings. Orza is never in the power path. The half hours it couldn’t read are shown as missing, and left out of your savings rather than guessed.
  • Within your battery’s limitsThe plan counts the energy lost each time the battery charges and discharges, so it only moves energy through it when the price difference pays for that. It keeps the reserve you set and stays within your battery’s power limits, and your battery’s own management system protects it underneath anything Orza asks for.
  • Your maker’s app keeps workingKeep it for warranty registration, firmware updates and safety alerts. Orza sits alongside it as the plan, reaching your system through the same cloud your maker’s app uses.
